AbXcore App / Nara — Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the AbXcore app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the app.

2. Who can use AbXcore
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract in your country to use AbXcore. By registering, you confirm the information you provide (name, email, date of birth) is accurate and that you are creating the account for yourself.

3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password and any device-level security (Face ID, passcode) confidential, and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may also sign in using a third-party account (Google, Apple, or Facebook). Doing so is also subject to that provider's own terms, and we only receive the basic profile information needed to create your AbXcore account.

4. Nara, our AI coach
Nara generates workout plans, training adjustments, and chat responses using AI, based on the goals, history, and preferences you provide. Nara is not a doctor, physical therapist, dietitian, or certified personal trainer.
AI-generated responses can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Use your own judgment, and verify anything important — especially around injuries, pain, or medical symptoms — with a qualified professional rather than relying solely on Nara.

5. Health & fitness disclaimer
Exercise carries inherent risk of injury. Talk to a doctor before starting any new exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, an injury, or any condition that could be made worse by physical activity. You train at your own risk, and AbXcore is not liable for injuries that occur while using the app or following its plans.
Stop any exercise immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath, and seek medical attention if needed.

6. Nutrition & dietary disclaimer
Calorie, macro, and nutrition guidance in AbXcore (including anything generated by Nara) are estimates based on the data you provide and general nutritional information — they are not personalized medical or dietetic advice and may contain inaccuracies.
You are responsible for checking ingredient and allergen information yourself before eating anything; AbXcore cannot guarantee any food entry, recipe, or AI suggestion is free of a specific allergen. If you have a medical condition affected by diet (diabetes, eating disorder history, allergies, pregnancy, etc.), consult a doctor or registered dietitian before following any nutrition guidance from the app.

7. Camera & on-device processing
During a workout session, AbXcore can use your front camera to track your body position in real time and give form feedback. This video is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded, recorded, or sent to our servers.
AbXcore can also use your camera to scan equipment or a gym/hotel check-in code. We do not perform facial recognition and do not collect or store biometric face data on our servers. Device-level Face ID, where you enable it to unlock the app, is handled entirely by your device's operating system and never reaches us.

8. Connected devices & data
If you connect a smartwatch, fitness tracker, or health platform (such as Apple Watch, Whoop, Garmin, Fitbit, Withings, Apple Health, Google Fit, or Strava), we read the recovery, sleep, and activity data you authorize so Nara can adapt your plan. You can disconnect any device at any time from Connected Devices.

9. Location services
Features like finding nearby gyms or hotel partners, and weather-aware workout suggestions, use your device's location with your permission. You can deny or revoke location access at any time in your device settings; some location-based features simply won't work without it.

10. Subscriptions, free trial & billing
AbXcore may offer a free trial (currently 7 days). At the end of the trial, continued access to paid features requires an active subscription. Prices and billing frequency are shown before you pay.
Subscriptions are billed through our payment processor (Stripe) and renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Profile → Subscription; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law.

11. User content
You keep ownership of anything you submit to AbXcore — chat messages, food log entries, photos, etc. — and grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide and improve the app for you. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or that you do not have the right to share.

12. Acceptable use
Use AbXcore only for its intended purpose. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the app, scrape or abuse our systems, use Nara to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content, impersonate another person, resell access to your account, or interfere with other users or our infrastructure.

13. Intellectual property
AbXcore, Nara AI, and all related branding, software, and content we provide are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited right to use the app as intended, nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you.

14. Third-party services
AbXcore relies on third-party services to operate — including cloud hosting and database storage (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), and AI models that power Nara. Your use of features built on these services is also subject to this section; we choose providers that meet our security and privacy standards, but we are not responsible for outages or issues originating on their side.

15. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Privacy & Security → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or where required by law.

16. Disclaimer of warranties
AbXcore is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any specific fitness, health, or nutrition outcome.

17. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, AbXcore and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including injury, lost data, or lost profits — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

18. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence to the extent local consumer protection law requires it; otherwise, by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AbXcore operates. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.

19. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. If changes are material, we'll notify you in-app before they take effect; continuing to use AbXcore after that point means you accept the updated Terms.
