AbXcore App — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the AbXcore mobile app (including Nara, our AI coaching assistant) collects, how it's used, where it's stored, and what rights you have over it. It covers the app only — for our website/store, see our separate site Privacy Policy.
1. Information you provide directly
Account information: your name, email address, and password when you create an account, or basic profile information (name, email) if you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook.
Onboarding profile: your date of birth, gender, weight, height, fitness goals, training pace/level/frequency/duration, preferred training time and location, past experience, motivation, obstacles, average sleep, and available equipment, collected during the onboarding quiz. This information stays on your device (local app storage) and is used to build your training plan.
Health & injury information: if you choose to tell us about an injury or describe pain, that text is stored on your device. If you attach a photo or document about an injury, only the file name is shown to you in the app — the file itself is not uploaded or stored by us.
Chat messages with Nara: anything you type or say to Nara, our AI coach.
2. Information collected automatically through device features
Camera: when you scan gym/hotel equipment or a check-in code, your camera shows a live preview on your screen only — no video or photo is recorded, saved, or sent anywhere.
During a workout, you can enable AI Form Tracking, which uses your front camera to track your body position in real time and count reps. This processing happens entirely on your device. Your video is never recorded, uploaded, or sent to our servers or any third party, and the camera turns off as soon as tracking stops or you leave the screen. You'll always see an in-app explanation before this feature turns your camera on.
Microphone: when you use voice chat with Nara, your device's built-in speech-recognition converts your speech to text locally. We never receive or store raw audio — only the resulting text of what you said.
Location: if you tap "Use my location" to find nearby gyms or hotels, your coordinates are used for that one search and then discarded — we never store your location, on your device or on our servers.
3. Information from accounts and devices you connect
If you choose to connect a third-party account or wearable, we access only what you authorize:
- Spotify and YouTube Music: basic profile and listening data, used to personalize your in-app experience.
- Whoop: your recovery, sleep, and workout data, used so Nara can adapt your training and show accurate workout calories.
You can disconnect any of these at any time from Connected Devices in your profile, which removes the stored access token.
4. Nara, our AI coach
When you chat with Nara, your message and relevant context (such as your training history and connected device data) are sent to our backend, which calls our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate Nara's reply. Your messages are processed solely to generate that reply and are not used by our AI provider to train its models.
Nara Memory (optional): if you opt in, Nara can remember durable facts about you across conversations — such as your goals, injuries you've mentioned, sleep patterns, and what motivates you — so she doesn't need to ask again. This is off by default. The first time you open chat with Nara, we show you a clear consent screen explaining exactly what will be remembered and for how long, before anything is saved. You can change your mind at any time in Privacy & Security → "Nara AI Memory," which also lets you view everything Nara has learned about you or erase it immediately ("Forget everything"). Facts are automatically deleted after 12 months if you don't act sooner.
Because some of what Nara remembers can relate to your health, this data is also covered by our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which gives you additional rights under Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar laws.
5. Payment information
If you subscribe to AbXcore, your payment is processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
6. How we store and protect your data
Most of your profile, onboarding, and health information stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. Data that is sent to our servers (such as your Nara Memory facts) is stored in a Supabase-hosted database, protected by row-level security so that only your own account can ever read, write, or delete your data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent for any data you've opted into sharing. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app:
- View what Nara knows about you, or erase it: Privacy & Security → "Nara AI Memory."
- Disconnect any third-party account or wearable: Connected Devices.
- Delete your account and all associated data: Privacy & Security → "Delete Account."

8. Children's privacy
AbXcore is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to what we collect or how we use it, we'll notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
