Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
AbXcore App — Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy is separate from our general App Privacy Policy, as required by law in some jurisdictions (including Washington State's My Health My Data Act). It specifically covers consumer health data collected through Nara, our AI coaching assistant.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to consumer health data: information that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health status — including fitness and wellness information, and information revealing your efforts to maintain or improve your health.
In AbXcore, that means the durable facts Nara learns about you through conversation, if you opt in to Nara Memory: your fitness goals, injuries or physical limitations you mention, sleep/recovery patterns you discuss, and the personality/motivation profile Nara builds to coach you.
It does not cover health-related information that stays only on your device and is never received by our servers — that data is covered in our general App Privacy Policy instead.
2. Categories of consumer health data we collect, and why
- Fitness goals & training context (e.g. "training for a marathon," "wants to build strength") — so Nara can tailor your workouts to your goal.
- Injuries or physical limitations you disclose in chat (e.g. "I have a bad knee") — so Nara avoids recommending exercises that could hurt you.
- Sleep & recovery patterns you discuss with Nara — so Nara can adjust training intensity around your recovery.
- Personality & motivation style — so Nara can coach and communicate in the way that works for you.
We only collect what you actually tell Nara in conversation. We do not infer your health status from any other signal — not your camera, not biometric sensors, not third-party health records.
3. Where this data comes from
The only source is you, directly, through what you type or say to Nara in chat. We do not buy, license, or otherwise receive consumer health data about you from any third party or data broker.
4. How it's processed, and who else sees it
Your message and the facts already known about you are sent to OpenAI, our AI model provider, solely to generate Nara's reply. OpenAI does not use this data to train its models under our agreement with them.
The facts themselves are stored in our database, protected so that only your own account can ever read, write, or delete your data — no one at AbXcore has an ordinary path to browse other users' health data through the app.
We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not use geofencing around health care facilities for any purpose.
5. How long we keep it
Each fact is automatically deleted 12 months after it was learned, even if you take no action. You can delete everything sooner at any time (see Section 6).
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Confirm whether we have consumer health data about you.
- Access the specific data we have — in the app: Privacy & Security → "Nara AI Memory" → "View What Nara Knows."
- Delete your consumer health data — in the app, the same screen has a "Forget everything" button, which deletes it immediately. Turning the "Remember Me" toggle off does the same thing. Deleting your account also deletes it.
- Withdraw your consent to future collection at any time — turning "Remember Me" off stops any new facts from being collected from that point on; it does not retroactively remove facts already learned (use "Forget everything" for that).
You can exercise all of these rights directly and immediately in the app. If you'd rather make a request by email, contact info@abxcore.com and we will confirm or delete on request.
7. Consent
We only collect consumer health data after you explicitly opt in. The first time you open chat with Nara, a full-screen consent screen explains exactly what will be remembered, for how long, and how to erase it. There is no pre-checked box and no passive "by using this app you agree" banner — you make an affirmative choice before any fact is ever stored.
8. What this policy does not cover
Some fitness/health-related information exists elsewhere in AbXcore but never leaves your device — for example, your onboarding answers about injuries, past experience, and average sleep, and Whoop recovery/sleep data used in the moment to inform a Nara reply. That information is covered by our general App Privacy Policy. If any of it is ever turned into a durable fact Nara remembers about you, it becomes covered by this policy at that point.
9. Changes to this policy
If we materially change what we collect, how we use it, or who we share it with, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent again before the new use applies to data already collected.
